Terms of Service
Effective 12 July 2026
QuickClef ("the service") is a piano sight-reading practice application available at quickclef.com. By creating an account or subscribing you agree to these terms.
The service
QuickClef provides generated sheet-music exercises, practice tools and progress tracking, used through a web browser with an optional MIDI keyboard. We work to keep the service available and improving, but it is provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted availability.
Accounts
Sign-in is provided through Google. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend accounts used to abuse, attack or resell the service.
Subscriptions, trial and billing
- Paid plans: monthly and annual, with prices shown on the pricing section of the site before checkout. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
- New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. Your payment method is charged automatically when the trial ends, unless you cancel before then.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.
- You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancelling stops future charges; access continues until the end of the period already paid.
Refunds
- If you are in Brazil, you have the right to withdraw from a purchase within 7 days (Código de Defesa do Consumidor, art. 49) for a full refund.
- Anywhere else: if you forgot to cancel or a charge surprised you, write to us within 14 days of the charge and we will refund it in full. We would rather refund than argue.
- Contact for both: [email protected].
Your content
MIDI files you import are processed and stored on your own device. You are responsible for having the rights to files you use.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect.
